Ethiopia celebrates important holidays on days different from the United States because they use the Gregorian calendar. One example is our friends and family in Ethiopia celebrated Easter (Fasika) last month on May 2nd. Everyone at the AJ Home pitched in to prepare the traditional Easter feast and celebrate together as a family. It was a wonderful day of family and togetherness!
